Jeff Anderson

Jeff grew up in Brentwood, TN, and attended the University of Tennessee where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration.

Jeff spent a couple years in Nashville in sales positions before discovering his desire for a career with the U.S. Secret Service.  He proudly joined the U.S. Secret Service in 1987 and was assigned as a Special Agent to the St. Louis Field Office.  In addition to St. Louis, Jeff was also assigned to the Dallas Field Office, the Vice-Presidential Protective Division, the London Resident Office, the Toronto Resident Office and the Birmingham Field Office.

During his assignment in Dallas, Jeff was selected to become a polygraph examiner where he was trained in interview and interrogation techniques.  He subsequently utilized these skills on many high profile, national security investigations including an

interview of Charles Manson related to a threat to President Clinton. Jeff continually relies upon these skills to foster more open and effective communications with organizations, groups, and individuals.

In 2002, Jeff was promoted to Resident Agent in Charge of the Toronto Resident Office.  He initiated relationships with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Toronto Police Service, Ontario Provincial Police and other local, police municipalities.  These relationships led to numerous successful cross-country joint investigations into counterfeit credit cards and currency, threats to U.S. Secret Service protectees, and other protective assignments.  In 2005, Jeff was awarded the International Association of Financial Crime Investigators (IAFCI) Partnership of the Year for his work with Canadian law enforcement on a cross border investigation of a counterfeit credit card operation.

In 2006, Jeff was promoted to Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Birmingham Field Office, where he oversaw agents in the Birmingham, Mobile, Montgomery, and Jackson, Mississippi, offices.  While in Birmingham he was selected for special campaign assignments to the Biden Vice Presidential Campaign (2008) and the Romney Presidential Campaign (2012) where he supervised the U.S. Secret Service Operations Sections for these campaigns.

In 2014, Jeff retired from the U.S. Secret Service with 26 years of service.  He was proud to be a part of this organization that provided him with an opportunity to serve in a mission bigger than himself, that provided numerous unique life experiences and the training and leadership experience to succeed outside the organization.

Upon retirement from the U.S. Secret Service, Jeff immediately moved into his new role with Regions Bank. During his seven years with Regions, Jeff rose from Corporate Security Senior Vice President over Administration to Corporate Security Assistant Director. The seven years with Regions provided Jeff with invaluable corporate leadership experience and a unique insight into the contrast between government and corporate leadership and allowed him to identify the universal leadership principles that are relevant within all organizations.
